I'm a professional stylist and colorist with over 15 years of experience. I earned my license at 21 and have been behind the chair ever since. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep passion for working with curly and textured hair—helping you embrace, enhance, and fall in love with your natural texture.

I also have a soft spot for creating the perfect shade of red or copper to make your features pop. My goal is always to educate and empower my guests, matching the right style and products to both your hair and your lifestyle. Helping others feel confident and beautiful is one of my greatest joys.

I'm a Columbia Gorge native—an old soul and hippie at heart. When I’m not in the salon, I’m usually home in Dufur tending our garden, exploring our sweet little town, or off on an adventure with my honey and our blended family of six. Whether it’s camping, foraging, mushroom hunting, picking wildflowers, or searching for rocks and antler sheds—we love experiencing all the beauty the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Hey there! I'm Mariah Porter, the proud owner of Westward Beauty. Born and raised in the beautiful Gorge, I now call the Hood River Valley home, where I live with my husband and our two little ones. My passion for hair ignited at a young age, and I’m thrilled to see my dreams come to life at Meraki. I offer a wide range of services including hair color, haircuts, and extensions. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where clients feel comfortable expressing their unique needs and styles. I also strive to ensure every client leaves with a little piece of knowledge to enhance their hair journey.

Hello everyone! I'm Kaylee and I've spent majority of my life growing up in the scenic surroundings of the Gorge. I cherish the strong community spirit here. My journey into the world of cosmetology began right after high school when I discovered my love for hairstyling during the quarantine. I started with experimenting on my own hair, which eventually led to doing my friends' hair too!

There's no better feeling than seeing the joy on my clients' faces when they see their freshly cut hair. It's beyond words to know that I've played a part in boosting their confidence.

When I'm not working, you'll find me immersed in music, painting, or indulging in some much-needed self-care. I also enjoy spending quality time with my loved ones.

Hello! I’m Jayden, the owner of Jaydid Hair Co.

I am thrilled to announce that I’ve joined the Meraki Beauty PNW family as their newest Hair Artist. Born and raised in Hood River, Oregon, I was fortunate to be introduced to the beauty industry early on by my lovely mama, who was a salon owner and nail tech for most of my life. Before attending cosmetology school, I spent three wonderful years as a stay-at-home mom to my two beautiful girls.

My passion for the art of blonding stemmed from my own journey with hair confidence. Finding my niche in this industry was a no-brainer since I’ve always been a blondie at heart (though not naturally!). I believe in the importance of incorporating luxury products into your daily hair routine, both before and after your blonding service. I am proud to be part of a salon that prides itself on professional luxury products, helping educate my clients and keeping their hair feeling and looking its best.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me shooting my bow, line dancing, or chasing my two spitfires around, enjoying all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Hello! My name is Brenda and I am the owner of Siente Skin Aesthetics. I have been in the industry for about 6 years, I focused on special events/bridal makeup for the first few years until I started to fall in love with the skin side of esthetics when I was struggling with my own skin. So, I decided to further my education and become an Advanced Aesthetician so that I could work around results-driven treatments that would let me give clients the results I experienced receiving myself. Hi there, my name is Jamie and I have been an Esthetician for 6 years now. I was the first employee at Satori and am very excited to be apart of the Meraki team. I started my career with so much passion for the skin. How products and routines can drastically change the appearance of our skin. I was amazed by the impact of facials. But I quickly took to Lash Extensions and waxing. Within my first year I had full books of lash extensions, which lead me to teaching classes and educating other Estheticians on the application of Lash Extensions.

I’ve since had two kids, that take up so much of my heart and time. Esthetics allows me to provide for my children while still having a passion of my own. I’m very grateful for the time I get to spend in the salon, connecting with guests and building relationships over the years. I look forward to meeting you.

Hello! I’m Abby, the owner of Arc Rose Company. I’ve been in the industry as an esthetician for 5 years now, I got my licensed at 20 and have been working ever since! My main services, and passions fall under lash extensions and full body waxing! All though I do offer other services such as lash lifts + tints, brow laminations, and brow tinting+staining. I love educating and meeting new clients/members of the community while making connections along the way! When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, friends, family, and fur babies! During my time in school, I became certified to treat a variety of skin types and conditions. My goal is to create a cozy, safe space where you can relax and feel pampered.

My journey as a nail tech began three years ago when I set out to grow my natural nails — and within just three months, I was amazed by the results. Inspired by my own experience, I now specialize in Japanese Soft Gels to help others achieve healthy, natural nail growth. I offer Basic Gel Manicures, Soft and Hard Gel Overlays, and Soft Gel Extensions. I’ve called The Dalles home for the past ten years, where I live with my husband and our adorable rabbit, Daisy.
